DESCRIPTION:SKOPE Classic \n6-8 February 2026 \n36th edition of the best of Classic and Historic Motor Racing at Euromarque Motorsport Park (Ruapuna Raceway) \nWeekend Schedule \nSpectators -Tickets are available from the Canterbury Car Club office at the track\, 8:30 – 5 weekdays.\nOr at the gate for the same $.\nFri – $20\nSat – $35\nSun – $35\nWeekend – $50 \nNo entry for spectators before 8am each day (no entry to the park before Friday for camping or reserving space to camp) \nGreat family day/weekend out\, something for everyone including entertainment for the kids.\n2x large inflatable kids play areas at the hairpin.\nWander around the pits to check out the cars and meet the drivers.\nMultiple food vendors\, at hairpin and in pits. \nOvernight camping permitted\, please note the following:\n– No vehicles permitted in the park before gate opening for spectators 8:00am Friday (if you arrive before opening do not block gate access for competitors arriving)\n– Campers must be fully self contained (no tents)\n– If parking trackside you must nose in\, do not park sideways unless you are back from the fence with room for other vehicles in front. Also ensure payments are made early enough we can see the payment before the test day \n\nVehicle Requirements:\nCars\n– Driver must hold and present a current/valid Motorsport New Zealand competition licence.\n– Car must meet the safety requirements for your level of motorsport competition. This includes a valid and correctly mounted fire extinguisher.\n– Convertibles must have\, a MSNZ homologated safety structure\, minimum 4 point (half cage) which sits higher than the occupants helmet when seated normally.\n– Driver must wear a minimum of 100% cotton overalls and a competition approved helmet. (Strongly recommend are higher levels of safety gear such as full fireproof gear and head restraint) \n– Passengers – can only be carried in approved vehicles\, full MSNZ homologated safety structure & car fully complies with MSNZ passenger requirements. Passengers must wear safety gear as per driver requirements.\n– All passengers must sign in at the office and wear supplied wrist band.\n– Driver is responsible for ensuring passenger is equipped correctly and understands how to operate the safety equipment.\n– Second driver\, or second car no extra charge (all drivers must meet all regulations)\, one registration form per driver required. \nMotorcycles\n– Riders must hold and produce a current/valid Motorcycling New Zealand competition licence.\n– Single piece or zip together leathers required. No textiles or separate top/bottoms.\n– Leather boots & gloves\, and back protector required\n– Helmet must meet standards required for a Motorcycling New Zealand permitted race event. Nothing to be attached to helmet\n– Motorcycle must be road or race legal\, in addition if not already done:\n– Mirrors to be removed or taped\n– Handlebar ends to be plugged\n– Lights to be taped or removed\n– Stands and passenger pegs to be wired up or removed \nNo commercial activity may take place on a test day. This includes hot laps or rider/driver training – unless by prior arrangement with track management. \nUnless noted otherwise\, these days are for Cars and Motorcycles only. (no sidecars or supertrucks) \nNote – These days do cover a wide range of vehicles and drivers/riders. Each group will have a vast array of lap times and experience levels so all users are reminded that you need to share the track safely. You may be faster or slower than others on track so you need to ensure you can operate in traffic safely. Dangerous passing or holding up faster vehicles is not tolerated.\nFaster vehicles are responsible for passing safely.\nAll vehicles must lap the circuit in a 2:30 or faster. \n\nTiming / Groups / Sessions \n\nOffice opens at 8:30am for sign in\nEach group runs alternating 20 minute sessions.\nNo minimum track time guaranteed\, standard day would expect 6-7 runs per group\nSessions restarted if paused for red flag\nNo set start times\, groups run in standard order one after the other\nStandard running order for 3 groups – Saloon Cars\, Open Wheelers (incl sports racing cars Lotus 7 and similar)\, Motorcycles. Some days may run up to 5 groups if splits required for large numbers\nEnd of Day – 4:30pm\n\nTrack Walks are only permitted with prior approval from track management \n\nThe following days are the only dates available \nPlanned Test Days & Car Run In Mornings for the next few weeks are below. \nEach date has an individual entry link\, please ensure you select the form the date you wish to attend.\nIf the date you are wanting to attend does not have an entry form yet refresh the page first\, or check back closer to the day\, we aim to have at least 2x test days ahead available to be booked. \nRegistered but now can’t make it? No worries just let us know and if you pre paid send an email with the account to return the payment to. \nPlease register online if you can\, it helps us plan the days and also saves everyone time at sign-in\nPre registering helps us massively with planning and makes the day more efficient for you the driver/rider. \n\n\n\n\n\nPARK HOURS – PLEASE NOTE THAT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE THE PARK WILL NOT BE OPEN BEFORE 8:00AM FOR TEST DAYS AND WILL SHUT AT 5:00PM
